The Anita Ditz Fund for Schlow Library Children's Department was formed by co-workers and friends to recognize Anita's 34 years as Head of the Children's Library at Schlow. Anita grew and developed the department into an award winning children’s library where families and children can learn, thrive, and grow. From early literacy programs, to hands on STEM experiments, to classic children’s books, to exciting storytimes, to quiet family reading areas – the Children’s Library at Schlow is truly a destination. This fund will support collections and activities of the Children's Library, including purchasing new books, toys and games, and funding storytimes and educational programs that enhance the learning of the children who use the library.
