StoryWalk® is a nationwide program that encourages reading in unique environments. In 2019, the Centre County Federation of Public Libraries brought this initiative to Centre County, where laminated pages from children's books are installed along outdoor paths. The goal for Centre County StoryWalk® is to provide families with young children access to a free, fun-filled experience that combines literacy with nature and outdoor play. This fund was established by Blake and Linda Gall to support the long-term sustainability of the program.
